Projects

Projects lists all projects the user has access to and the ones created by the user. Users can click the project name to view the project. Projects table consists of the project title, type, description, created date and time, and who has created the project (owner). You can refresh the projects using the refresh img alt icon and can search for projects using the search img alt icon.



Following are the options available for projects.

New Project​

The New Project option is used for creating new projects. The steps to create projects are explained below,

  • Click New Project button on the top right.
  • Enter the required details in the dialog.
    a. Project Name: Enter a unique name for the project. The availability of the Project Name entered will be shown to the user whenever they move on to the next field on the dialog.
    b. Project Type: Select the respective project type. We have different types of projects in AI Studio (more details here).
    The next steps are specific to the project type selected.

c. Description: Enter the short description of the project.


d. Click Next.


e. Select option Generate Predefined Reports if you want to create the default set of report definitions and dashboards related to chatbot for this project. (Reports/Dashboard explanation here)


f. Select the chatbot-webservice database type. Note: This option is available only on On-Premises instance.

  • Click Create to create the project.

Import Project​

The Import Project option is used to import projects. Projects are imported by uploading project zip files that are exported from AIStudio. The steps to import projects are explained below,

  • Click three dots ( img alt ) near the New Project option on the top right.
  • Click the Import Project option.
  • Enter the below details in the Import Project dialog:
    • Project Name: Enter the name of the project.
    • Description: Enter the description of the project.
    • Zip file: Browse or Drag-drop the downloaded .zip file.
  • Click Import.
  • After a few seconds, click the Refresh icon (img alt) in the Projects table. The imported project will now be visible in the list.

Clone Project​

The Clone Project is used to create a copy of an existing project. The steps to clone projects are explained below,

  • Click three dots ( img alt ) near the New Project option on the top right.
  • Click the Clone Project option.
  • Enter the below details in the Clone Project dialog:
    • Project Name: Enter the name of the project.
    • Description: Enter the description of the project.
    • Project: Select the project whose copy has to be made from the dropdown.
  • Click Clone.
  • After a few seconds, click the Refresh icon (img alt) in the Projects table. The cloned project will now be visible in the list.
